- They established Plymouth Bay was outside of the domain of the Virginia Company
technically they did not have legal rights to the land they were living on, so they were squatters. But they was bamfs so they dont care.- The Mayflower Compact: all the men basically agreed to submit to majority rules- signed by 41 adults and eventually led to something called town meetings
- Covenant of Grace: whatever they did they did for the glory of god
- Social Covenant: you watched other people and what they did. Encouraged people to snoop because god punished the whole community.
